I haven't heard of Wise Choice Web Design. What is your experience in building websites?
We’re so glad you asked! It’s a rather long story, but here is the Reader’s Digest version.
Technology of all kinds has always been our passion (we think it started when we got Pong for Christmas one year).
Specific to websites, it has been quite a journey. It all started learning how to make simple programs using BASIC on the only Macintosh computer our high school library had at the time. As the years progressed, the internet was born, we got our very own computer (a giant IBM from Future Shop) and technology kept changing, we were still hooked.
Continuously learning about new trends, computer programming languages and ultimately website building. Such an amazing hobby! What we started to realize is that we loved building websites (weird we know) and started building for fun in our spare time. Technology is always evolving, which keeps us always learning and keeping up to date with new innovations, trends and best practices when it comes to website development.
We are now at a point in our lives where we want to use all the knowledge and skill we have developed over these many, many years and help make it possible for everyone to have access to an amazing website at an affordable price. So in March of 2025, Wise Choice Web Design was born!

Do you outsource any of your work?
Absolutely not!
Our standards are way too high and we care way too much to allow someone else to do our work. We handle everything personally.
Why are you so inexpensive compared to other website design companies?
Awesome question!
People assume that less expensive automatically means “not as good”. That is absolutely NOT the case with us. You are getting the same (or dare we say better) quality and service compared to other companies or freelance web developers who charge thousands of dollars.
We are simply choosing to make less profit in order to make it possible for everyone to afford an amazing website.
What locations and type of businesses do you service?
We do everything virtually (online, over the phone or on a video call). So, we are not bound by any geographical restrictions.
We are, however, focusing our services to small businesses and entrepreneurs located in the Durham Region at this time.
